APPLICATIONS AND DOSAGE.

CECROPIA PALMATA - EMBAUBA.
(100 % Cecropia palmata leaves)

Cecropia peltata Applications Embauba:
Tincture or infusion of Embauba (Cecropia species) is used for asthma and other upper respiratory complaints, as well for diabetes.
It also has been used for sores on the mouth and / or tongue.
The plant has cardio-tonic properties, increasing the strength of cardiac muscle contraction.
Embauba has demonstrated hypotensive activity in animal studies.

Dosage:
Tincture: 1 – 3 ml daily
Infusion: 1 – 2 cups daily

Interactions:
May potentiate cardio-tonics as well as anti-hypertensive and ACE-inhibitor drugs.
It may also potentiate antidiabetic- and insulin drugs.
