* GINGER BEER (GEMBERBIER).
A refreshing drink made from ginger!Ingredients: serve for 4 persons. * 16 oz. ginger * 96 oz. water * 1 teaspoon citric acid * 4 gr. clove * 4 gr. pimento * 1 teaspoon almond essence * 4 lb. sugar Directions: Add the hot water (90°) to the grated ginger. Add the ingredients except the essence. Let stand for some 4 hours and sift. Add the almond essence to taste. (If the flavor is too intense, add some more water). Chill and serve cold!
